Our constant-pressure water pump system is a pressure-stabilized water supply solution consisting of three components: an air-pressure tank, a water pump, and an electronic control system.

 

Under low water demand, the auxiliary pump maintains the required pressure and flow. When water consumption exceeds the output of the auxiliary pump, the pressure sensor detects a drop in pipeline pressure. The microcomputer controller processes this signal and sends commands to the frequency converter, which then adjusts the speed of the main pump and determines how many pumps need to operate. This intelligent control achieves significant energy and water savings.

 

A key advantage of this system is that it eliminates the need for a water tower. It requires a small investment, occupies minimal space, offers flexible installation, and can be put into operation quickly. The system features automatic water–air adjustment, fully automatic control, energy-saving operation, and automatic switching to the municipal water supply. It can continue delivering water during a power outage and requires no supervision once it has been commissioned.

Constant Pressure Water Pump Systems Working Principle

 

The variable-speed constant-pressure water pump uses a pneumatic water supply system. Inside the sealed tank, high-pressure air and water pressure work together to deliver water to the pipeline. During operation, the pump pushes water into the tank through a check valve, compressing the air inside and gradually increasing the internal pressure. When the pressure reaches the preset upper limit, the electric-contact pressure gauge sends a signal to the control cabinet to stop the pump. At this point, the pressure inside the equipment is higher than that of the external pipeline, and water is automatically supplied to the network.

 

As the water level in the tank drops and the compressed air expands, the pressure decreases. When it reaches the preset lower limit, the electric-contact pressure gauge triggers the pump to restart through the control cabinet. This cycle repeats to ensure continuous water supply. When the air volume in the tank becomes insufficient, the air-supply valve automatically replenishes the air.
