Structural Features of Magnetic Pump

 
1. Pump Body / Insulation Jacket

The pump body is connected with the pump cover, and there is a sealing gasket between the two and the pump body has a drain hole. When the liquid delivered by the pump needs to be kept warm or cooled, the pump body and other parts can be designed with an insulation jacket, and the external heat medium/refrigerant is used to heat or cool the liquid delivered by the pump.

2. Magnetic Materials

The rare earth permanent magnetic material with a large magnetic energy accumulation and high temperature resistance has made the performance of magnetic materials reasonably and fully used, thereby improving magnetic transmission efficiency. When the medium temperature is greater than 120 ℃, the high-temperature magnetic material is used.

3. Isolation Sleeve

The isolation sleeve is a thin-walled pressure-bearing part with a gasket between the pump cover and bolted to isolate the pump cavity from the outside. The isolation sleeve canceled the sliding bearing seat of old structures such as CQ, eliminating the load that was applied to the isolation sleeve from the sliding bearing, and it was safer and reliable. Depending on the difference in the pump transmission medium, the isolation sleeve can use titanium alloy, Hastelloy, stainless steel, and non-metallic materials.

4. Sliding Bearings

Double sliding bearings are mounted on the same bearing housing, ensuring high coaxiality and easy installation. The material is typically high-hardness, high-wear-resistant silicon carbide. Other materials such as carbon graphite can also be selected depending on the medium.

5. Buffer Ring

Due to the different coefficients of linear expansion of the materials, the buffer ring can compensate for dimensional differences caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the materials due to high or low temperatures of the medium, and acts as a buffer, providing an elastic support surface for the bushing and preventing damage to the bushing and sliding bearings due to thermal expansion.

6. WAxial Force Balancing

No external piping or other auxiliary facilities are required. The hydraulic design of the internal hydraulic system of the magnetic pump automatically balances axial forces, improving pump lifespan.

7. Internal Pump Circulation System

The pump features a self-circulating cooling and flushing system to remove heat generated during pump operation and to lubricate and cool the sliding bearings. Depending on the process flow's required net positive suction head (NPSHr), the circulation system can employ internal circulation, external circulation, forward circulation, and reverse circulation.

8. Bearing Suspension Components (Suitable for Coupling Structures)

The bearing suspension incorporates high-quality rolling bearings such as NSK and SKF, capable of withstanding axial and radial loads. It uses oil lubrication, and the oil level within the bearing suspension is indicated by an oil level gauge. The bearing suspension features an automatic oil replenishment system with a constant-level oil cup. A labyrinth-type seal groove is incorporated into the bearing suspension to ensure that lubricating oil does not leak into the atmosphere. A dustproof disc is located outside the labyrinth seal to prevent external dust from entering the bearing housing.
