Inspection of bearings
1) Before assembling the rolling bearing, dig out the rust-proof oil or grease in the bearing, then place the bearing in hot engine oil to melt the residual oil, rinse with kerosene, and blow dry with white cloth or compressed air.
2) After cleaning the rolling bearing, the following items should be checked; whether the bearing rotates flexibly, briskly, and there is no jamming; whether the bearing clearance is appropriate; whether the bearing is clean; whether the inner and outer rings, rolling elements and spacers are rusted, burred, bumped Injuries and cracks; whether the inner ring of the bearing is exactly against the shaft shoulder; whether the bearing accessories are complete. Replace if there is a problem.
3) When inspecting the journal and bearing body, the micrometer or vernier caliper is mainly used to measure the ovality and conicity of the journal and bearing body hole and whether the fit with the bearing meets the requirements. In addition, check whether the journal fillet matches the bearing inner ring. Check the amount of runout of the shaft shoulder and bearing hole. The value should not exceed the specified value. Otherwise, replace it.
