Precautions for vertical pipeline centrifugal pump
1. Starting of vertical pipeline centrifugal pump
(1) Rotate the pump rotor before starting the vertical pipeline centrifugal pump to check whether the rotor is flexible;
(2) Check whether the motor steering is consistent with the pump steering;
(3) Open the suction valve of the pump (if it is equipped with a suction valve), close the gate valve of the pump outlet pipeline and the cock of the pressure gauge, so that the pump is filled with liquid, or use this system to remove the air in the suction pipeline and the pump;
(4) Check the tightness of the connecting bolts between the pump and the motor and the safety conditions around the pump, so that the pump is ready to start;
(5) Start the motor. After the pump is running normally, open the pressure gauge cock, and slowly open the pump outlet gate valve until the pressure gauge pointer points to the required pressure (control the given head of the pump according to the outlet pressure gauge reading).

2. Operation of vertical pipeline centrifugal pump
(1) The vertical pipeline centrifugal pump relies on the balance mechanism in the pump to balance the axial force. There is a balance liquid flowing out of the balance device. Flow out of the pump through the short pipe. In order to ensure the normal operation of the pump, the balance water pipe is not allowed to be blocked.
(2) During the start-up and operation, it is necessary to pay attention to observe the instrument readings, whether the bearing temperature, packing leakage and temperature, and the vibration and sound of the pump are normal. If any abnormal situation is found, it should be dealt with in time;
(3) The temperature rise of the bearing reflects the assembly quality of the pump, the temperature rise of the bearing shall not be higher than the ambient temperature of 35°C, and the temperature of the bearing shall not be higher than 75°C;
(4) There is a certain axial movement of the pump rotor during operation, and the axial movement should be within the allowable range, and the gap value between the end faces of the two halves of the coupling of the motor and the water pump should be guaranteed;
(5) During the service period of the pump, the wear of the impeller, seal ring, guide vane sleeve, shaft sleeve, balance plate and other parts should be checked regularly; when the wear is too large, it should be replaced in time.

3. Shutdown of the vertical pipeline centrifugal pump
(1) Before the pipeline pump stops, the cock of the pressure gauge should be closed first, and the outlet gate valve should be closed slowly, and then the suction valve of the pump should be closed after the pipeline pump is stopped (if a suction valve is installed);
(2) If the pipeline pump is not used for a long time, all the drain cocks under the water inlet section, middle section and outlet section of the pump should be removed, the remaining water should be drained, and the pump should be disassembled, cleaned and oiled, and packaged for storage.
